Yeah that's valid, this was back when we literally had NO clue what was going on in the kpop landscape. I would imagine if we watched Queendom now our viewpoint would be completely different knowing what we do now

2024-04-26 20:05:04 +0000 UTCI always have a hard time watching reactions to Queendom when the full AOA story wasn't known. Jimin got so much unnecessary hate. It's the same situation as Soojin and Garam. People believing the accuser and demonizing the accused without actual proof. I chose to watch Queendom without looking into the drama and thought Jimin was nice and genuine with her members. There's only so much you can hide from the cameras and with the show wanting to pit the girls against each other for drama, I'm sure they would have aired any clips of members being "mean".

2024-04-25 22:39:30 +0000 UTCOh My Girl really gained a lot of popularity because of queendom. They were more of a lower to mid-tier group in terms of popularity before this. Nonstop was their 1st comeback after this show aired and became their 1st song to hit no. 1 on the charts.

Lovelyz And I also think that Oh My Girl in the second made the best performance of the entire show. Why I put Lovelyz last is because the performance didn’t suit the song. I put AOA third because it’s kinda similar to the real performance.

2020-09-13 06:58:29 +0000 UTCMimi is an amazing rapper, but she's a sub-vocalist as well and your whole "let Mimi rap thing" was odd to me, since she raps in just about all of their title tracks and b-sides lol. "Secret Garden" is still one of their most popular and successful songs to date. This song was well-received by the Korean general public, so it makes sense for them to sing it even if it wasn't the most exciting. Tbh, the only performances that truly stuck out to me during this first round was (G)I-dle and AOA's. The second round is where everyone steps it up and I'll tell you now, Oh MY Girl's performance in the next round is still my favorite performance from this entire show lol.
