Michelle your art is so absolutely beautiful!!! It amazes me to see how creative your mind is especially with the creation of Saph and Ava’s determination to break down the door with her back exploding with dragon flys. I remember reading your letter about your mother and wanted to say when I first read Ava’s Demon I too was confused by how hateful Wraithia was towards baby Ava and how abusively depicted that dynamic was. My own mother struggled with Anger management and it always felt like walking on egg shells as a child but not to the degree depicted in the story. I really felt a shift in Ava, when she broke down the door and harnessed her own power for the sake of the baby and their family. And to finally firmly and confidently confront Wraithia. These chapters felt symbolic and beautiful of growth and protecting and loving our younger selves. I dearly hope that not only was it for Ava but for you too author and that it reflects the healing and confidence you’ve gained in your life. It’s so hard to break down the walls of trauma and confront past demons. You should be very proud. Your work is amazing and I just wanted to express how touched I was to see these last few chapters ❤️
