Also, everytime I see Vincent Lemaire I wonder what's going on with him. He wasn't the third in the draft pick, so he must have really been a stand out to get the nomination,lol. Poor Vincent, he'll never see the light of day.

2026-02-14 12:44:25 +0000 UTCThis is a really great fun episode and it's where all the romance people wanted in eps. 1 and 2 went, but to those people I would say you couldn't have this ep. without those. You've got to have some kind of build up. I am on Role Model in reading the books, and I had briefly thought of skipping to The Long Game after Heated Rivelry, the book, but I'm am so glad I didn't, you get little moments with Shane and Ilya throughout, though not as much of Shane as I would like, but I do hope the next season covers these books and moments aswell, especially a certain scene in Role Model that I HAVE to see Ilya's side of, but I can't wait for season 2. I now have 3 t-shirts with different designs of the Stupid Canadian Wolf-Bird, and I would love some offical merch, but they are still sold out! Conner Storrie (Ilya) is hosting Saturday Night Live on the 28th, and though this isn't my usual show to watch, I will be watching this one, maybe you could react to it, if you have access.

I haven't read any the others, just those three. Do you recommend any specific book in the series? I'm not really sure if I want to read Game Changers (Scott and Kip's book), but maybe one of the others if you recommend it.

As a book reader, I really think you'll enjoy the story that season 2 should give us if they follow the next book (The Long Game). All I'll say is that it was an emotional roller-coaster for me to read and could make for an EXCELLENT follow-up to such a strong first season. I personally thought the show changes for season 1 improved on the book, which is a rarity, so more of that could make for a hell of a story. Anyway, I look forward to sticking around and watching more. You asked about movie/show reactions..... do you have a genre preference or are you up for anything? Just curious before I toss out any suggestions

2026-02-12 12:57:10 +0000 UTCVincent Lemaire, robbed of his deserved MVP trophy. Great reactions to this series, the next season should adapt The Long Game, which is the Ilya/Shane sequel and my favorite book in the series. It's an emotional uppercut and should be lots of fun.
