Learned the Premier League Football league in the uk has no out players when I was watching Ted Lasso. Its an insane statistic

Adam from FWCI

It's a sad reality that as of February 2026, the National Hockey League (NHL) - the show referrs to it as Major League Hockey (MLH) - remains the only major men's professional sports league without a single player—current or former—who has publicly come out as gay or bisexual. While some prospects like Luke Prokop (Nashville Predators) have come out while signed to a contract, they have not yet made an appearance in an NHL game, keeping the league's history of "out" players at zero. The major men's sports categories that have had players come out are: Major League Baseball (MLB): At least two former players, Glenn Burke (who came out after retiring in 1982) and Billy Bean (who came out in 1999), have been publicly out. More recently, minor league players like David Denson have also come out while active in affiliated ball. National Basketball Association (NBA): Jason Collins became the first active player in the four major leagues to come out in 2013. He followed former player John Amaechi, who came out in 2007. National Football League (NFL): Over 16 former or active players have come out publicly. Carl Nassib became the first active player to come out in 2021, joining trailblazers like Dave Kopay (who came out in 1975) and Ryan O'Callaghan. Major League Soccer (MLS): Multiple players have been out while active, including Robbie Rogers (the first out man to play in a major U.S. league in 2013) and Collin Martin.

The timing of your injury is quite hilarious! 💪😂 You are absolutely hilarious and one of my favorite reactors! I'm so glad your arm is healing and you're able to get some rest. Take care of yourself first and foremost, we love your reactions, but we can wait if needed.

Kris

That is very kind of you to say. Thankyou. Episode 4 is uploading now. I'll probably have the rest done by the end of the week.

This has to be my fav intro to any of your videos on here or on YouTube Adam. I enjoyed it so much I had to comment, firstly It was hilarious with the timing of your injury (hope your arm has healed) and also quite a bit sad in respects to Adolescence. I watched your Adolescence Yt reactions here as they became available and can’t think why others may have reacted in a negative fashion as for a first time watch you were processing it exactly like most first time viewers did. I also think sometimes viewers seem to expect unfairly that first time watch reactors will miraculously get to the position and the opinions the viewer themselves has only arrived at after watching the whole show and a ton of reactions themselves and reading comments etc. Do wish viewers would give more grace to reactors. But this is exactly why I like your reactions as they are authentically yours and your experience of a show. And I’m really enjoying your Heated Rivalry reactions as without your reactions I wouldn’t have given the show a chance and come to like it so much. Looking forward to the next ones.

This story is the first book in the series and it's not my fav. it's Rachel Reid's first book, the writing isn't that great, (for me) and the story isn't my favorite with the kind of drama it goes into, basically coming down to no communication. I like that they boiled it down in this episode, but I will just say that Kip's dad is pretty smart and good at adding 2 and 2 and getting 4. I won't say more here about that. Maria works at the Smoothie place. She is great. The Scholorship that Scott is talking about is not the same as what Kip gets for school. His is a Hockey scholorship, ( I believe) and Kip is doing a post grad degree in Art/History, (not sure which, he majored in history at college, but wants to work in museums.) I like the way this ends without a difinitive answer, and maybe I'll elaborate after you finish the series. I love the scenes with Scott at the away games with Boston and Montreal, it's nice to see a glimpse of our guys and see how Ilya has rubbed off on Shane. (not in the literal sense, now get YOUR mind out of the gutter! lol)

I love this episode and your reaction can’t wait for you to watch the next three episodes they are so amazing

Iain McRoberts

yeah, when ppl jump in on reactors when they are seeing the show for the first time it's quite unfair. sorry to hear that on your adolescence rxns..

Mairead

Connor Storrie (Ilya) and Hudson Williams (Shane) have done tons of interviews you should react to after you finish the show.

Are you reading my mind, or do I have some innate sense of when you'll upload? Does'nt matter, I get to watch a new reaction!
