The moon question comes up again and again, much like the blue whale (though less frequent). And they keep changing the answer to it much to Alan‘s frustration.

2025-11-25 17:28:24 +0000 UTCJeremy Hardy was an older school of british comic, someone that probably was a more natural fit for the radio quiz show formats than QI, which has a very different audience and style. He gets lost on a panel like this. There are quite a few guests like that in early seasons, and even David Mitchell had a similar issue at the beginning as someone who is primarily (and for the first part of his career solely) a writer and comic actor.
