I loved Emma Sidi in this as well, she has such a great energy and the detective costume just made everything more fun! I just learned that she and Rose Matafeo were roommates for a longtime and that they did a sitcom together called "Starstruck" that also includes her husband. Could be a fun one to watch on the channel!

Also, someone told a story about seeing Andy get out of a pool and his wet hair and bald head looking like he had the ears of a basset hound and now that image is in my head every time I see him. I think the story was told by the Gamblor.

The bugle podcast he does with John Oliver is a big deal and cricket fans know him but this is the first time I saw him on a major tv show and he killed it.

Same with Jack and the 'one of those exercise balls'. It caused a bit of a hoo-ha online, so much so that Alex put out a statement: "In the cinema task, when Andy Zaltzman said “I couldn’t eat a whole one”, he was, of course, using the word ‘one’ not as a number, but as a ‘proform’. To quote Susie Dent on this matter: “this is a pronominal use rather than a numerical one." "His ‘one’ is being used for an object that is understood by the context of the sentence, rather than as a specific number.” Thank you Susie. Similarly, when Jack Dee said “one of those exercise balls” in the same task, he wasn’t referring to the number of exercise balls he could see. He was using ‘one’ as a proform, or pronoun, which was why that one was not taken as his answer either."[1] Suzie Dent back involved!

2025-11-19 15:45:10 +0000 UTCI was at the foodmaster pilot recording! I spoke to Ed gamble and sue Perkins, Horne was there. Baba and Maisie Adam were contestants and both brilliant. Baba did this weird liquid nitrogen thing… it was excellent. Maisie was chaos and did a massive mess up when she confused cabbage vs lettuce and did a Bridget Christie charging at Gamble like a bull. I KNEW if foodmaster didn’t go ahead then baba and Maisie would end up on the next few series of tm and I was right lol

And his combining of the outfits with no explanation then the hot dog on top. You will love his off menu episode - man is hilarious when he’s not banging on about cricket. Love that baba keeps accidentally wearing off menu x Percival merchandise on tv and not knowing it. It sells out so quick but I managed to get an off menu jumper with a pizza that Ed and James face on!
