Babies’ kneecaps start to ossify (harden into bone) around 2 yrs old and the process takes a few years to complete. Bodies are very clever but also very weird.

There are some videos of it on youtube, I recommend the one with Leicester Vintage Toy Shop, it is an hour long tour of some of his stuff. Jonathan's been rich for a long time, and he's spent most of that money on toys and music memorabilia. Dude is a massive nerd in the best way :)

The character is an argumentative, lazy teenager whose catchphrase is "Am I bovvered?!", as in "As if I care". She was a breakout character from the show and made quite a few appearances on BBC charity things around this time.
