Greg nearly gives him and Sophie one point and he suggests to Greg that they both get two. He knew what he was doing.

With your comment that John seems to never mess up, I looked back and his consistency is actually kind of insane. Looking at his scoring up to this point, outside prize tasks (where he has a couple 2s and a 1), he only ever scored under a 3 on the toilet paper roll live task where he was DQ'd even though he finished first due to the technicality of the bit of TP left on the roll. So basically always top half.

When Sophie’s character Leslie said “It was hard, but I’m back… I’m back” my heart broke a little bit

They called it the bleep test when I was at school too. I guess the company that sold the audio cassettes in the UK must have marketed it under that name.

I’m already too much so didn’t want to spam him this. I love all the photos and videos, hopefully they’ll film it from now on! The photos are always incredible and Alex ripping off his shirt to reveal a Greg shirt shows his commitment. My fav photo might be Ed tackling Alex despite hating football or James standing behind Alex absolutely not bothered

You would love Sam Campbell's Chess Ham sketch he did for LAh's charity football match

The National Trust owns John Lennon’s and Paul McCartney’s childhood homes in Liverpool. So maybe he did donate a painting…

Baddiel award might need to be a lack of understanding award as I’ve hinted to before this is a series of very weird fails. Nick tragically flipping on the camping bed, the mid on the ground instead of mid air and the flip task, Sophie potentially for the flip too and there’s a case for every time she just put something on her head, Joanne for the bolero dance AND mannequin that she murdered instead of bringing To life.. but I think Steve’s madness at the b(l)eep might be my favourite. Just a grown man swearing at a sock

WHat episode was that in?

1) I immediately noticed that 20th April as assistant’s day is adolf hitler’s birthday. I do have a history degree but I remember the fact more from a 30 rock joke 2) Nick is so sweet. Josh widdicombe just interviewed him about celeb traitors and I bet he’s a traitor as nobody would suspect it but he’s a magician! 3) you’re Joanne impression is actually good. You’ll enjoy the extended outakke of the lads and their ham on their bikes

Same as English Heritage - charities that own posh bastard lands that should be preserved. One of my best friends who is from NZ but lives in AUS flew back earlier this year and we did a road trip of places she didn’t go when she lived here. We worked out it was cheaper for her to buy an annual pass for National Trust and English Heritage than pay full price even for a few weeks. There’s an amazing castle called Tintagel in Cornwall that I paid £30 to get into a few years ago but you’d get in for £10 if you have an annual membership. You can visit national parks, castles, stately homes, park for free etc much more cheaply and discounts for young, elderly and disabled people. Also weirdly all the castles in north wales were English heritage. We are a confusing kingdom.

The National Trust is a charity that owns and runs lots of stately homes and gardens across the UK. There used to be loads of rich posh gentry who owned huges country homes, and now they're all broke so the NT runs them.
