Yessss an underrated series! Actually, I believe you've been listening to the Taskmaster Podcast but I specifically remember series 17 as having some killer podcast episodes. There are some great behind-the-scenes stories, and I LOL'd twice during Joanne's interview (I laugh plenty, but when I'm listening to something alone I rarely laugh *out loud*, so that's a big compliment).

His partner on that show, Reece Shearsmith, was recently revealed to be in the Series 20 lineup for TM. Personal favorite episode of IN9 would be "The Riddle of the Sphinx". It has a thematic tie-in with one of Pemberton's prize tasks this series. Also, adding this in later, both Pemberton and Shearsmith are amazing at being able to switch gears seamlessly between comedic and dramatic inflection. It's an essential skill when needing to occupy the performative range that they do in Inside No. 9 where any given week they're doing this or that narrative role. You will see this in Steve Pemberton in TM. He'll bring his acting A-game in moments of both war and peace.
