Quick Announcement - New Tier
Added 2025-03-25 15:32:28 +0000 UTCI've been debating this for a while and I think I'm going to make a new tier.
The third tier which I'm going to name "Explorer" would have 7 chapters more than the second tier for a total of 10 advanced chapters.
The way I plan for it to work with how many stories I have is that all chapters as normal go into the 2nd tier, but from the fourth advanced chapter onward, they go into the 3rd tier.
I currently have 2 chapters ready for "Fear Not the Elf" with a third on the way. The hope is to have all 7 ready by March 28th.

I will try again when you finish constructing your explorer membership and should work when your explorer membership is ready. You don’t have to pay me back. If my previous payments really did go through, then just think of them as tips(?). Speaking of, when will your explorer membership be ready? Can’t wait to read more of your Frieren work.

I tried to upgrade when I saw that there was new chapters and when I tried to read them it said I needed Explorer membership. There was a red link to upgrade in the chapter, so I just clicked it. Then, it showed if I wanted to pay for explorer membership, which I did via apple. You know, by pressing my fingerprint in my home button since I’m reading on a iPad. I paid and it said it was done and I was brought back to chapter 6. I waited and it didn’t unlock. So I thought that maybe it didn’t work. So, I paid for it again like before, the screen loaded for a bit and told me it was done. I was brought back to chapter 6 again, and still nothing. It didn’t upgrade my membership to Explorer. Since I paid for the explorer membership twice already, it should likely just unlock for me when you finish tweaking it, or I might have to pay again. I don’t know if it’s because as it said underneath the explorer membership that it’s “under construction”, but I should have paid twice already or it didn’t go through.

I did it once and it still didn’t upgrade, so then I did it again and still didn’t work. Turn out when I went to edit my membership, I saw that underneath Explorer membership it said it was “still under construction” or something. I already paid twice for explorer, Will I still have to pay for it when it’s done?

2025-03-28 11:29:48 +0000 UTCI mean, I'm fine with it, I'm only going to be a sporadic subscriber anyways - I have a decent amount of writers I want to subscribe to, and other things to pay for, so I'd likely just tap the highest tier every 2-4 month or so.

2025-03-25 18:54:53 +0000 UTCSeems ok to me mate, if people wish to pay for more chapters ahead then they can. The only thing is, you will be held more tightly to perception. Of course it’s their prerogative to support, and there is no guarantee of regular chapters, but once you start raising the cost for more ahead? The game changes, cause they could just wait in a lower tier for them to come out, now it’s about consistency a bit. Be careful mate. EDIT: uh, does that make sense? Let me know if that made any sense. Although you are pretty consistent. It’s just with a higher tier you may need to let people know about gaps in posting ahead of time.

It's automatically turned off but I would just turn it on for occasions like that. I find it way more convenient than posting the same chapter again but on a different tier.
