2024-01-24 23:17:16 +0000 UTCI was the same with Friends. I had only seen bits and pieces of scenes when it was still in its run, and I couldn’t understand why it was so popular. Didn’t get into it - and love it - until after it was in syndication. I’ve loved The Office since Day 1, however. Glad you’re enjoying it!

2024-01-24 23:15:43 +0000 UTCThat improv class is ultimate cringe, reminding us that Michael is far from a pleasant guy despite a kind heart. Thanks for the reaction, needed the laugh today.

2024-01-24 22:41:06 +0000 UTCIt's 100% legal if it's on the company's email server. Right out of college I worked for a wholesale travel agency, the company was like 95% women and me and one other guy were the only men in our department. We all had access to each other's emails because there were 3 shifts and we were dealing with hotels/resorts in literally every time zone of the world, so other people would have to help close reservations if the your shift was over and you didn't get a response back from someone in say..Taiwan. Anyway, we also used it to talk personally about non-business related things just like anyone else. The rule was, if it wasn't related to anything business related and you were reading someone's correspondence, you were suppose to stop. (It's a department full of women, of course they're gonna snoop) We got called into the office because someone snitched on us for making an EXTREMELY mild comment about one of the girls being cute. "Oh, training with Jasmine today I see..lucky man." Him - "Hahaha she's cute, married though." Thing is, that comment was made like WEEKS into a personal correspondence that was usually full of "what are we doing for lunch?" or "smoke break?" So I told my boss, "wait...so she did something against company policy and then was dumb enough to admit it, just to try to get us in trouble?" Even my boss laughed and said "yeah, I talked to her about it. But I had to bring you guys in anyway just for appearances." I sent in my 2 weeks notice by the end of the day. Imagine breaking into your neighbors house, finding what was left of a smoked joint, and then calling the cops because marijuana is illegal? hahah

2024-01-24 21:34:26 +0000 UTCIf you are sending e-mails from a company issued e-mail account, using a company network, and on a company owned device, then it is generally acceptable for management to monitor those e-mails. They just need to specify a business purpose or concern, and they usually must also make an announcement that e-mails may be monitored. This can vary somewhat from state-to-state.

2024-01-24 20:57:41 +0000 UTCi think PA is just fun to say. Pittsburgh PA gets said a lot. “PHILADELPHIA PA… dancing in the street.” you get it.
