The answer is yes, of course, and not just in occupied Ukraine. Last week two oil trains were derailed in Russia itself after explosives were set off on the tracks. But in the Russian-occupied part of Ukraine it seems like collaborationist leaders are blown up almost every week. You asked "what is the point?" The point is that Vladimir Putin wants to reconstruct the Soviet Empire and started by invading Ukraine which was a part of the Soviet Union but is a distinct people from Russians. It is not unlike when Hitler invaded Poland starting WW II. What was the point of that? The Ukrainians are a European people with democratic aspirations demonstrating their willingness to fight for their independence and freedom and deserve our full support at least as much as the Poles, the Czechs and others did in 1939. The good news is that your country, the UK, is at the forefront of nations helping them, just as it was when it declared war on Germany after the invasion of Poland.
