Did you ever see the '80s "Swamp Thing" movie? Honestly, it's not good. It's too serious and just creepy. However, the sequel, "Return of Swamp Thing" is much more fun. It's much more campy and ludicrous...
...and it features Heather Locklear as Abby Arcane. When watching it, i was reminded of "The Shape of Water," because Abby meets an inhuman monster and decides almost immediately that she wants to bang it. Like, there's no initial repulsion/growing fascination, she just sees a monster and says "yeah, that, that shit is mine now."
It's bold.
Anyway, the movie ends with her being healed by Swamp Thing's powers, and a flower sprouts on her foot, implying that she's going to become a Swamp Thing as well. But you never see it. What would that look like?
This is the start of it. She'll get much more swampy in the second one.

2019-01-21 03:38:59 +0000 UTCI've seen that film so OTT like campy cream. I remember the sort of "Fin...?" ending also with the flower and Mlle. Locklear's toes scrinching the moss. This turned out really cute - who said it isn't easy being green? You get to stand in squishy swamp muck all day.
