2023-07-13 18:56:09 +0000 UTCOn this viewing I caught a tiny detail I missed before: Out in the backyard at the party, Richie has just been talking about the Ecto drink Carmy has made, Carmy walks away and Richie says, "Rest in peace, Harold." It was a reference to Harold Ramis, who co-wrote and starred in Ghostbusters. So many little Chicago references in this show, often things that viewers not from that area would never notice. Like when the uncle mentions going up to Lake Geneva, which is a resort area in Wisconsin north of Chicago. I gotta think Christopher Storer must be from Chicago.
