Will you be interested in a Lovecraft Locker remake?

This is only a poll so it may or may not happen regardless of results, but...

I know we're already working on Tentacle Breach and Tentacle Hell, which we'll keep working on for the time being, but what if we remake the first Lovecraft Locker?

This remake will be superior in every aspect from the first and will use Tentacle Breach's base code.

As you may or may not notice, Tentacle Breach feels more light, responsive, and comfortable to play than the original game and Tentacle Hell since it was made from scratch. It's essentially a complete overhaul or remake of the game code-wise.

I've thought of this since Lovecraft Locker has practically ended but personally, I don't want to end working on the game since I still have so many ideas in terms of new areas, gameplay, and especially lwds.

Anyway, let us know what you think.

Note: In case you're not aware, in the context of video games, "remake," and "remaster" refer to different approaches in updating or re-releasing existing games:

  1. Remake: A remake involves a significant overhaul of the original game, often with updated graphics, sound, and gameplay mechanics. In some cases, the remake may also include changes to the storyline or additional content. Essentially, a remake is a reimagining of the original game with modern technology and design principles. It's like creating the game from scratch to capture the essence of the original while delivering a fresh experience.
  2. Remaster: A remaster involves enhancing the original game's audio and visual elements, making it compatible with newer hardware or display technologies. This process usually includes improving textures, and resolution, and sometimes adding support for higher frame rates. However, the core gameplay and content remain largely the same. A remaster is more about polishing and updating the technical aspects of the game rather than redesigning it.

You have already released Lovecraft Locker THREE times (LCL: Tentacle Lust, LCL: Tentacle Hell and LCL: Tentacle Breach)! The real difference between these games is that you finally completed LCL: Tentacle Lust, while LCL: Tentacle Hell and LCL: Tentacle Breach are STILL in development! The GAMEPLAY differences between these games are also hardly noticeable!

Honestly I'd be fine with a remaster. I love the core game and the variety of scenes, but the two aspects that I think could use the most improvement are the resolution of the graphics and the audio (especially the voiceover work). Perhaps new ideas would be better suited for a sequel? Either way, though, great work!

If it's remade I would like to see more voice work. More content on other games would be pretty sweet too though.

Aye I would certainly like a remake, Cause I share the idea the 1st game has a lot more potential. I mean I don't think it is bad as it is, but I really would love to see more. So dear devs if you do want to do a remake one day, I will certainly look forward to it. Untill then keep up your awesome work , and please take care of yourselfs <3.

i think calling it a remake is hasty but polishing up what feels like the center piece isnt a bad idea either way keep up the good work

A remake of it will be great considering the changes to the base code and the freedom that you'll have to add more content and overhaul others.

Joining different skills in a locker and a more functional gallery would be key.

Would be cool if there was like some girl on girl action or maybe futa on girl action and stuff available. Just putting it out there as an Idea.

I like the games, and I am Interested in an expansion of the core games content, as well as maybe improved visuals and the like, although I would be equally happy with new ideas just being made into a new game altogether. Maybe like a sequel or somehting? Just spitballing. But at the end of the day as long as you are making fun and hot content, I am a happy patron.

Spike

You do you
