Added 2022-08-28 04:25:42 +0000 UTCIt's been a rough couple of weeks. There was the controversy and we've been sick (rainy season now from where I live) so progress on stuff is rather slow. At least slower than the standards we set up when we first made LCL.
Anyway, let's talk about Tentacle Fantasy Soda:
The initial gameplay loop is looking good! I've also started the visual novel aspect, and the intro cutscenes are now ready for production. What remains now is how to make sure the gameplay part makes sense with the visual novel part. Stuff is a lot more challenging than I anticipated and as you know I don't like half-assing anything. I guess we can get away with just making good le*ds but I don't want to rely on that. The le*ds will be more powerful if the game plays it well and there's a real story to back them up right?
Sometimes I think of regretting even announcing this game at all coz it's so hard but it'd be pretty awkward to cancel now. I still want to continue work on LCL now that we can actually do it again but other times it excites me what stuff TFS can bring. I guess this shitty feeling for TFS is just me not liking what I see at the moment. We'll see in the coming weeks I suppose.

Aside from the 2nd exclusive waifu from the first poll, the Arch Wizard,
I also decided to do another exclusive waifu as a bonus.
This waifu, however, isn't on the poll and she's a personal choice. She'll be a surprise!
There's also another vanilla character joining, and she integrates with gameplay a little bit.
To summarize:
- 2 upcoming exclusive waifus
- 1 upcoming vanilla character
Anyway, another poll to wrap things up: how should we handle our development?
