Reincarnation Update
Added 2022-08-02 06:50:44 +0000 UTCSorry I haven't posted any updates. The game is at a playable level, but it feels like it’s missing something. I think I need to add the building system. I don’t have it planned out yet, but I have some good ideas.
I also found out that the small amount of lag in the game came from drawing the tilemap. I find it funny that I can have 5,000 NPCs moving around but drawing the tilemap is where the lag comes from. I wanted to redraw the tilemap anyways so I don’t mind messing around with it. I would like to make the game look more like a jungle. Currently it looks too much like an open forest.
