DVVR 0.2.2 HDRP closed alpha build now available!

i am using an oculus rift with both hand controllers. in the WSS i am using a nostromu SpeedPad n52. The SpeedPad is present in the system as mouse and keyboard and works together with everything that processes mouse and keyboard. The one hand control with the speedpad is my favorite. Those keys work only when you don't have hand controllers connected. On the controller it's left grip + joystick. I understand that some controllers might not have joystick or mapped to different axis, we'll continue to work on that front to improve control. Which headset and controller do you use btw?

really? I loved it. in mikumikudance, i have a vr plugin and i LOVE the camera mode. Also, I have the pimax 5K+. Framerate is 50fps in DVVR. I have a I7 4930K cpu and a GTX 1080 gpu. Is there any way dvvr will be multi-threaded?

No, camera tracks won't take over your view in VR mode. It will give you nausea very quickly. If you tried camera mode in mocumocudance, you'll know what I mean. I can't last 2 seconds in that mode. Btw which pimax headset have you got? What's the frame rate like in dvvr?

sorry to bug you again, but do you know the keyboard shortcut to enable the camera motion while in vr? I have no controllers and want to watch through the camera, i want to fly around from different angles

Haven't tried myself but keyboard should work in VR if no hand controllers are connected. Available keys are listed in the help page. You won't be able to operate UI but you can use J and l to switch models and I and K to change song.

since my pimax wont ship with controllers until god knows when...is there a way to use the keyboard and mouse while in VR mode? as of now, I cannot control anything in vr mode.

Unplug your headset before launching dvvr, it should fall back to desktop mode.

How can I use desktop mode? SteamVR will always start and enter VR mode. When SteamVR exit , DVVR will also exit.

Click on the "actor" name and you should see a setting called "Eye Contact", you can change how much they follow your eye. And you can turn on head turn which by default is off.

I just subscribed to you guys, this is looking good so far. EDIT: Looks great, but I don't see the option to eye follow, and also motion seems to start too early so its out of sync with music.

I'm stoked to give this a shot. Unfortunately it's not recognizing the models for me either.

Are you able to post a screenshot of your folder structure? Basically it needs at least one PMX or XPS file in the "actors" folder and a "VMD" as long with its "WAV" in a subfolder of "motion" folder. Will be able to provide further help if the folder structure is available. Thanks.

Great alpha I guess, but even with the help page I can't load any models, says they don't exist. Even if they are pmx model files. Hope this becomes a more...user friendly ui file search in the next update.
