In Yuba County, California, in the year 1978, five young men on their way home from a basketball game disappeared with no explanation. A few days later, the discovery of the car they travelled in was discovered, but every other piece of evidence had seemingly vanished without a trace.
I had heard of this mysterious cold case but didn't really know anything about it other than the disappearance of 5 individuals. Honestly I thought it was 5 teens that vanished but I was clearly wrong!
In any case there are lots of interesting things about this case in particular, a true mystery that has little explanation, tons of theories, and the realization that this tragedy may never truly be solved.
