I agree, even though I hate infidelity. In this particular circumstance I feel like it was needed in order to further her personal growth and to cement her choice in stone. Committing to 3 men, in an unconventional relationship is a big decision. Aziel struggled with it for years before Charlie came along as well. At least now she knows without a single doubt that this is what she wants.
I also think it was necessary because unless it was something truly drastic stopping them, there was no way the other males were going to give Charlie and Aziel enough time alone to hash out their differences and bond correctly. They needed this one on one time to get to know each other, for Aziel to learn to respect Charlie (because of their power imbalance), and get used to the new dynamic to their relationship.

I really love that Charlie chose the path she did. I understand that it serves a purpose here. It is the catalyst for growth.. Both in self and sexual maturity and understanding of ones self. How can anyone offer themselves fully too Anyone..(let alone three somebody's) if one dosen't know themselves and what they offer. Although, yes her sexual exploration lead to an unforeseen and unfortunate accident.. That made her feel guilty, I truly believe Charlie would have felt guilty after regardless of the accident.. Regardless as a result of this exploration she has confirmed in herself the very thing she has questioned before in previous chapters and that is if this is the life she wants... The one with all her males.. And it is. Truly she wants them now more than ever with her new inner growth and maturity.
