Videogame Inspiration: Monster Hunter
Added 2024-01-29 14:35:13 +0000 UTCI played Monster Hunter 2nd G (Unite) so much it is insane! Best PSP game I have ever had. The gameplay per se is fantastic, every hunt feels like a 20 minute long boss fight, where a simple slap from a monster can easily result in your demise: every slash and dodge counts, and you better learn about each creature or you will end up unprepared and at a great disadvantage! What really sold me the game thou, are the wonderful monsters designs, that not only look amazing but they perfectly fit the environment they find themselves in.
I have recently played the newer titles, which are just as good, but due to nostalgia's sake, Monster Hunter 2nd G will always have a special place in my heart.

2024-01-30 17:06:04 +0000 UTCit definitely is, I learnt to use the long sword very well, but when I try any other weapon I feel like a massive scrub. Game mechanics are simple but the monsters demand absolute respect all the times.
