from the birth of the world to its quick sprawl
I sang your praise by your side,
honest as day with nothing to hide
until the day of our brother Lucifer's intervention:
he asked for equal rights but you mistook his intention.
Thus he was cast below, like a handful of dirt
but he was not the only one that was truly hurt.
Our White feathers started to turn
when we witnessed our brother burn
Our perfect hearts grew weary with doubt
when you punished the first one of us to pout.
Father, now I see...I just needed to look around
