October Dormitory Diary Entry - Ura Takazumi

I’m excited to share that I got the chance to create a licensed illustration for the November issue of Megami Magazine, which hit shelves at the end of September! Apologies for the late update—it's been about a month since it was released!
It all started back in June when our studio held a competition for younger artists to create licensed illustrations. I joined in and, as it turned out, was one of the lucky winners! Then, while working on that project, someone approached me for another opportunity, which ended up being Megami Magazine. So that’s how that happened!
For the project, I was assigned specific characters and a Halloween-themed pose. I actually submitted two pose ideas: one based on their suggestion and one of my own. They ended up choosing my original idea! Success!
Some overseas fans even posted about it on X (formerly Twitter), which was exciting to see. This whole experience has been a great learning opportunity. Next time, I’m determined to make my work even better!

10月の寮生日記です。
9月の終わり頃から発売していた、メガミマガジン11月号にて、版権イラストを描かせていただきました！！1ヶ月後の報告になってしまいすみません！！！！
ことの発端は今年の6月でした。
社内の若い人を中心にした版権を描くためのコンペが開催され、それに参加したところ描かせていただけることになりました！が、それを描いている途中に、これもやってみないか？とメガミマガジンの仕事をいただいて、やらせてもらったという感じです。
仕事内容としては指定のキャラとポーズがあって、ハロウィン仕様で描いて欲しいとのことでした。キャラのポーズに関して、指定のものと自分で考えたものとの２つを提案してみたところ、提案した方を使ってもらえることに！やったぁ！
X(旧Twitter)でも取り上げている海外の方もいて嬉しかったです。
良い経験になりました。
次はもっと上手く描きたい！！
