September Dormitory Diary Entry - Shin Hison

Sorry for the late update—this is my diary entry for September 8th.

I’ve been cooking for myself a lot lately, but the grocery store has been out of rice, so I’ve been making more meals with noodles and bread instead.

As for this time’s drawing, the model’s pose was really dynamic and super fun to work with. I’ve been doing these continuous sketches of poses from photos shown in a YouTube video by a creator named “hide.” Not being able to choose the poses myself adds an element of surprise, which I’ve been enjoying. It also gave me a chance to draw more natural, unposed expressions instead of fixed ones, which was great!

Here’s hoping the price and supply of rice stabilize soon!

9月8日分の日記です。

よく自炊をしていますが、スーパーにお米がなくて麺類や食パンを利用した食事をすることが多くなりました。今回の絵はモデルさんのポーズがダイナミックでとても面白かったです。YouTubeの「hide」という方の動画から提示される写真のポーズを連続で描いていますが、自分で選べないことからくる予想できなさも楽しかったです。決め表情じゃなく自然な表情を描ける機会になって嬉しかったです。早いお米の価格と物量の安定を願います。
