Here’s my dormitory diary entry for August.
I’ve been alternating between working on assistant key animation and in-between animation. I wanted to increase my pace and focus on the tasks with the closest deadlines, but I almost made a mistake while working on my in-betweens. It made me realize how important it is to stay mindful. Moving forward, I want to be more conscious of what I’m working on and what I need to pay attention to.
Additionally, I want to better envision the final result of a scene just by looking at the time sheets, as well as the intent behind the key animator’s work. This experience has really reinforced how essential good communication and coordination are in creating animation.

8月の寮生日記です。
２原と動画を交互に進めながら作業しています。締め切りの早いものから先にと、ペースをあげて作業していきたいと思っていたら動画の作業の仕方を間違えそうになってしまい、気をつけなければと思いました。自分の取り組んでいるものが何か、どんなことに気をつけるべきなのかを明確にしながら考えて作業したいと思います。
また、タイムシートの内容を見てどんな仕上がりになるのか、原画を描いた人がどんな思いをもっているのかもできる限り把握していきたいと思います。アニメを作る上で連携がとても大切なんだなと改めて感じています。
