Here’s the diary entry for July 7th. I sincerely apologize for the delay.

It looks like a typhoon is coming—how is everyone holding up? I’ve noticed a difference between the drawings I made when preparing my portfolio before entering the anime industry and the ones I create now after gaining some industry experience.

Recently, I’ve been posting a series of drawings that were based on pose photos I found while searching for sketch videos on YouTube. These were poses I wouldn’t have thought to draw on my own, so challenging myself with them was a refreshing experience. I focused on capturing the sense of mass and weight in the drawings as I worked.

遅れまして大変申し訳ございません。

台風が来るようですが皆さんお元気でしょうか。アニメ業界に入る前のポートフォリオを準備する時のドローイングと実際の業界を経験してからのドローイングは違う出来上がりになると感じました。

最近連続してアップロードしている絵は、Youtubeにクロッキーを検索して出た映像の中でのポーズ写真を見て模写した物です。自分一人では描こうと思いつかないポーズでしたが、描いてみる機械になって新鮮な気持ちでした。質量を気にしながら描きました。
