This is Yamaguchi.

I recently went with a friend to a university animation exhibit to see some of the students’ work.

Each piece had it’s own distinct flavor which myself and the friend I was with exchanged opinions about. It was actually rather exciting.

I came to see a lot of opportunities for reflection in my own work and got more of a desire to create more stuff independently.

Part of me wants to just completely relax on my days off, but going outside like this and doing different sorts of activities, sketching on the train, and just generally shaking things up allows me to reset my headspace. When I’m alone, I tend to just get depressed.

Of course, I can’t go around town EVERY time I have a break, but I’d like to do it as much as possible.

お世話になっております。

山口です。

最近学生さんたちの作ったアニメーションの展示を友達と観てきました。

それぞれの作品に特色があり、一緒にいた友達とそれらについての意見交換ができてとても刺激を受けました。

自分の中での反省点なども見えてきて、自分ももっと作品制作がしたくなりました。

休みの日はしっかり休みたい気持ちがありますが、こうやって外に出て色々なものを見たり、電車の中でクロッキーをしたりと普段の生活とは別の過ごし方をすると、一人でうつうつしがちな気持ちがリセットされる気がします。

休みの度毎回に、とはいきませんが出来る限り外の環境にふれていきたいです。
