August Dormitory Diary Entry - Aoki

This is Yuta Aoki with my dormitory diary entry for the beginning of August.

This month, I was able to take some days off and go back to my family home in Nigata after a long while in Tokyo!

The comfortability I feel at my family home isn’t even comparable to anywhere else. I got to take it easy and just relax.

A heavy rain warning was issued in Tohoku right as I arrived back to the Kanto area though which was surprising, but fortunately, my family home was safe and sound.

When I came back, there were some monster cuts waiting for me on my desk at work.

I could practically hear them telling me that I was gonna be there all day... ;)

I had a hard time getting back into the groove of drawing after not doing it for 3-4 days. I felt like my skills had really dulled.

This is completely off topic but, I recently checked my teeth in the mirror to find a wisdom tooth jetting out into the side of face that I never knew about so… I should probably get that pulled before it turns into a cavity…

青木佑人です、8月上旬の寮生日記を更新します。

今月は月初めに平日のお休みをいただくことができ、久しぶりに新潟の実家に帰省することができました！

やはり実家の安心感は段違いですね！ゆっくりと体を休めることができました。

関東のほうに戻った頃に、東北で大雨警報が出て驚きましたが、幸い実家のほうは無事だったようで、ほっとしました。

さて、戻ってくると作画机の上にドーンと重いカットがずらり...

休んだ分働けと言わんばかりで笑っちゃいました;)

3日4日ペンを握らないとかなり鈍るものですね、戻ってすぐには思うように線が引けず苦戦しました。
