This is Yamaguchi.
I’ve been practicing drawing on my computer here and there recently to learn all the different short cuts and key binds of digital software.
The most I’ve ever used a computer for work is saving my drawings and managing files which I just click around for.
One of my fellow work mates caught wind of this and recommended that I practice working on PC so that I’m more proficient with digital tools, so I’ve been trying to act on their advice.
Sometimes I don’t know which key equips what tool and end up blanking out, but I’ve found some brushes I’m comfortable with and I can use the selection tool smoothly.
I actually think it’s rather comfortable so I’m debating saving up some money and adding some peripherals for left-handed workflows to my set up.
Though, it might be a while before that happens…Living sure is expensive…
I’m gonna work hard (while paying attention to my health) so I can draw lots of frames and buy all kinds of equipment without having to think so hard about it.

山口です。
最近パソコンも練習でちょこちょこ触りだし、ショートカットキーなるものを覚えました。
今までの人生、デジタル作業では保存や取り消しですら画面をクリックしていました。
それを見た同期の子が覚えると効率上がるよ～と勧めてくれたので、これから先のことを考え練習し始めました。
時々どのキーがなんのツールか分からなくなって動きが止まることがありますが、よく使うペンや範囲選択などはスムーズに切り替えられるようになりました。
結構快適なので、お金を貯めてちょっと良い左手デバイスを導入しようかなと検討中です。
ただそれはもう少し先になるかな…生きるってお金がかかりますね……。
これからも健康に気をつけつつ、沢山絵を描いて良い設備を躊躇いなくポンと買えるようなアニメーター目指して頑張ります。
