We Made a Music Video!

We created a music video called “Back to You” as the first step in our overall goal of tackling low wages for Japanese animators through the help of anime fans, and now, that music video is complete!

To everyone who supported our crowdfunding campaigns, we thank you from the bottom of our heart! Thanks to your support, we were able to gather enough production funds to pay our animators 180 dollars per keyframe. That’s 2-4 times more than the industry standard!

This was our, Animator Supporters, first attempt at making a music video, so while we feel that we made an appealing animation, we also feel that there are many things that we’d like to do better next time.

Part of our plan moving forward is to sustainably create about 1 music video per year. Over the next few years, we’ll be gathering enough staff and development know-how to open up our own anime studio which will cater to the needs of creators.

Starting this year, we’ve been trying to create a second music with vocalist Aya Hirano who you might know as Haruhi from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Development on this music video will go over into next year.
