Hello.

I got a vegetable called kale from a farm the other day. It’s very bitter. It’s now ranked among my least favorite foods, right next to raw bitter melon. I wonder if there’s any way to make it taste better…

It’s Kimura. Here’s my limited diary entry for June. As for the status of my training, we finished learning the basics last week. I’m now working on in-between animation for my first job. The product hasn’t gone public yet, but everyone knows its name. It’s great that I’ve been able to be a part of something so cool right from the start. I’m gonna brag about it to my little brother when it gets announced. Another day another job!. I’m looking forward to it!

Also, I’m still teaching that drawing class I was invited to before. One of the elementary students made her digital debut saying that they wanted to draw Ai Haibara from Detective Conan. Kids are amazing. They’re already using the keyboard shortcuts I taught them a week ago. They’ve got such amazing memories. It makes me feel embarrassed for writing about how I had trouble remembering commands when jumping software in a previous diary entry. I sense a rivalry developing with the elementary students. I think they want to dray Anna from Spy Family next.

I drew this illustration of the inside of my house. Remote work ends this month; It looks like I’ll be able to go to the office in July. The digital equipment I was lent will be going back to the company.

I won’t be able to doodle digitally at home anymore...that’s tough. I’m excited to be able to see people, though.
