Hello everyone! Watanabe here!
This is a continuation of my post from two days ago!
Being an animator, I thought I’d try and post an animation this month, but everyday fatigue caught up with me, and it wasn’t going so well, so I’ll save it for next time. (Sorry…)
I’ll post some sketches I did in between training instead.
We spent today studying the fundamentals of walk cycles. The in-betweens that I had so much confidence in were, as expected, rejected and had to be redrawn.
During this back and forth, the sun falls before I notice and then I realize it’s time to go home. This has been a daily trend recently.
Draw, sleep. Draw, sleep. Repeat.
I just feel so happy that I get to live like this.
I’d like to tell you a bit about myself.
I was a temp worker for about a year and a half, and during then, I couldn’t find much time to draw.
Most of the people at the company I worked at didn’t watch anime, so I couldn’t really talk about anime or illustration.
That’s why since taking a seat at an anime company, I realized once again how lucky I am to have friends who love anime as a matter of course, to make time to draw, and to make those drawings move often.
Many faults may be found with my work, but I can focus on what I love, so no matter how bad it gets, I can face it with all I’ve got.
