Thank you for clearing that up for me. There's usually a moment where I ask about the changes that were made in each biopic that I react to.

2022-11-27 01:26:22 +0000 UTCIt is interesting that they started with his capture. A few wrong details here and there but other than that the general direction of how it went down was accurate. First off Tracy Edwards, the one who escaped, wasn't gay and wasn't approached in a gay club but a regular bar. The men that Jeffrey targeted weren't just gay men, but men HE was physically attracted to. Tracy also never tried to seduce him, but he just kept as calm as he could and went along with whatever Jeffery wanted. Glenda Cleveland also wasn't Jeffrey's next door neighbour. But she lived in the apartment building across from Jeffrey's apartment. Her involvement in the Dahmer case isn't as big as the show's adaptation, but its not that it isn't as important. The women who called the cops and tried to convince the officers that the boy was underage was Glenda's daughter and her friend. That's how Glenda was made known of Jeffrey. She called the police department over and over to complain about their method of dealing with that incident, but they ignored her saying the incident was resolved and closed. Truly frustrating and tragic. A sloppily handled case that could have saved many lives had the police dealt with it better.
