diane’s dilemma with writing her memoir or that other book which would both have the same goal but executed differently, that’s exactly what the writers went through when creating bojack. she’s been the voice of the writers in so many instances but this episode really showed that perfectly. so many people gave up on the show bc of how weird it is thinking it’s just gon be some goofy shit but it’s way deeper than that. it was so interesting just imagining the writing process. at the end of the day, yes it’s not that serious book she imagined herself writing, but it serves the same purpose
