To be honest, yeah man you are kind of tripping at times, since you asked. Some things in this show are dumb and dumbed down to make more sense, and yes it can be annoying. But you’re letting it distract you from the stuff that isn’t. Like no, I dont believe Pablo would kill the vice minister in front of the army, why would he? He’s not stupid. And often times youre getting really upset before the man even finishes his sentence. At least give them the chance to explain or provide context. Gaviria is not stupid for not covering the phone, he knew Eduardo could hear everything. That was intentional. But you were focused on how dumb it was that he smiled earlier so it went over your head. Sometimes you catch yourself and realize youre barking up the wrong tree but a lot of this comes across like you’ve just decided that something is stupid and therefor are going to try and dissect how stupid it is while missing important and often not-stupid details. Not trying to come across the wrong way, it just seemed like you heard Gaviria’s line in the beginning (which to your credit was just incredibly stupid writing) and let it ruin the entire episode. Also, this is all based on reality so….yes the Justice Minister walked into Pablos prison and that was idiotic but, it happened so what do you want them to say? At the beginning of the show they talk all about magical realism; the point of the show is how insane this all was, like literally the point. And I understand that hero white boy murphy is annoying as well, but thats a whole different topic.
