such a great episode....when daemon gave his brother his crown and helped him up....he's ONLY wanted to be his strong hand.....and marry rheanrya...which he did anyway. i know it's gross but imagine how much would have been better for poor viserys if he'd elected daemon as hand way back when or heir and let him marry her. wow.....i mean no story but life wise would have been better haha

2022-10-12 22:43:16 +0000 UTCthey did a decent job showing how impulsive vaemond is in other episodes, when fighting the crab prince he was talking mutiny and corlys had to check him plus he was throwing subs at rhaenyra during the funeral. even otto was shaking his head lmao. rhaenys was smart to play it like that, and technically she did not lie since it was truly corlys wishes to have luke rule driftmark, and by marrying him to baela they are conserving both the velaryon name and blood which shows it’s not truly vaemond’s concern. luke being too young to be in charge is in no way a factor to consider, otto is being deceitful since the whole system is legit built on that, if they were following tradition they would’ve appointed vaemond or rhaenys as regent until luke gets older but it was really just self interest from all parties. also aegon and aemond are not product of incest they’re just like rhaenyra’s children and daemon’s children: all half targaryan and half something else. they just seem more crazy because they were raised on fear lmao
