How is treating her equal to the other characters misogynistic? Never once did i say the other characters arent liars and selfish too...i said she gets a pass for it by fans when the others don't, that was my whole point haha. I wasn't name calling anyone or hating on others opinions, i said i get why ppl like her, it's good writing and layered...it's just interesting to me how majority of ppl are totally on her side and hating on the other characters. Either way not really trying to argue, just discussing the show bc theres alot of sides to it. Also i havent read the book so im strictly talking about the show so far.

why does it matter if she lied or not? if she were a man, no one would care to ask bc its nobody’s business so why hold her to a higher standard just bc she’s a woman… you mention she doesn’t want to accept the responsibilities that come with being heir (even tho she did accept in this episode) but so did daemon (by taking a second wife) & viserys (not doing his « duties » by choosing his own wife). idk man but you said she’s a gray character then tried to paint a black/white picture which was hella misogynistic lmao i get where you coming from bc so much more shit ahead but let’s wait for that bc this definitely ain’t it

Na she said Daemon never touched her and she didn't do anything haha she def lied. @jia she's selfish bc she wants to be Heir and get respect/have power but she doesn't want to accept any of the responsibilities that come with that. She only cares about what she wants to do. Not saying she's not a good character, she is...but she's definitely selfish, like Viserys said everyone is self-interested ofc, but seems like ppl are just giving her a pass on everything bc shes the main character haha. Just my opinion tho, loving what theyre doing with the gray areas and characters.

I'm curious as to why you think she's selfish? Because she doesn't want want to be forced to marry someone she doesn't love and pop out babies like a broodmare? And she never said she didn't care about the common folk she said their opinion that as a woman she shouldn't be the heir is of little consequence. Now lying on her mother's grave was low. But honestly who wouldn't lie in her position. Daemon basically groomed her then took advantage of her to further his own agenda.

Im confused on most these reactions where ppl hate on Alicent and actually like Rhaenyra 😂 she's extremely selfish, always confrontational with everyone, doesn't care about the common folk, wanted to fuck her uncle, lied on her moms grave, etc hahaha and most importantly she'd be a terrible Queen. It's cool that she's like the independent woman that wants to break the rules and fuck the system but that doesn't mean she's morally correct...which tbf is why the show has been good, all the characters are pretty gray. Idc tho I'm repping House Hightower...fuck the Targs 💪😂😂😂
