I'm always here for some Elon Musk slander! Thank you for reacting to this show, it's the second time I watch and it's just as impactful as the first time. While many like to think this disaster is a phenomenon of soviet socialism, it's a consequence of powerful people trying to maintain their power no matter the cost. That mentality, unfortunately, is alive and well in our capitalist system and it *does* cost the lives of many even if we don't like to think about it.

Nah it's no argument bro. It actually made me laugh because I try to choose my words carefully. It's just like Cutiethinks said. We will never forget the atrocities done by western nations to us. What happened and continues to happen to the Americas, Africa and Asia affects so many nations and peoples. So when I say what I said it's not from an insular way of thinking. This country and many in the west are propped up by slavery and colonialism.

No shade at all... but are you new? Go watch his reviews of Lovecraft on youtube and come back. I mean Goony is Black Black. Like Blackity Black Black. That's why I love his content (or at least some of the reasons). He's literally a descendant of the sacrificed. Yes, some people like to ignore their history but Goony isn't one of those people. So although you may not have liked his comment, you may be interpreting his reasoning incorrectly.

Please provide proof of industrialized murder of millions of their own citizens in recent years. I would love to look into it. On the other hand, I can provide proof of the millions of deaths and disruptions that the US foreign policy did all over the globe. I'm not saying you have to be Soviet sympathizer, but calling people out for being neutral on the matter it's too much. Not having a pro-US stance is automatically inappropriate in your opinion and you legit think it's reasonable.

It’s nothing to do with obliviousness to American foreign policy. The whole world has had to deal with it. Your country’s meddling in world affairs, which has led to deaths, certainly reflects the UK’s, Iran’s, Saudi Arabia’s, many African nations, Spain, Portugal, France, Mongolia, and pretty much every country with any power — and is no doubt wrong. But it’s not the systemic and industrialised murder of millions of your own citizens in recent history. So my point stands. Anyway, I like your reactions and I don’t want to argue with you, but I couldn’t let that go unsaid.

As a guy from a nation who suffered 21 years of brutal military dictatorship with the US involvement and support, this sounds ridiculous to me. And not only Brazil, we're also talking about Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Guatemala... How can you be so oblivious of the amount of blood the US government has in their hands? Wow.

You know, and with no disrespect, one of the things that people generally dislike about Americans is how insular their understanding of the world is. Saying that you’ll take no side on the west v Soviet Union argument is pretty much equivalent to saying you’ll take no side on the west v Nazi Germany argument. The Soviet Union’s failed ideology sacrificed millions of lives to allow its ruling class (ironically) to stay in power. You should be able to take a side in that. One can understand the failures of the west whilst recognising that our system doesn’t necessitate the murder of millions of people in a few short years.
