I don't think it was Lalo's intention for Gus to end up at the laundry; instead I believe he used Kim and Saul to divert his attention and reduce the amount of security at the laundry so he could sneak in and record a video of the underground construction. But as he says to Don Eladio during recording "he just appeared here, so who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth?". Also what the fuck were Gus' guards doing, all looking towards the fucking wall and no one covering his back lmao. These last episodes are fucking CRAZY, my jaw went to the floor with the Howard scene
