At first I understand it can be horrifying to watch and people might think it glamorizes sex work but.. She feels “empowered” and in control but she’s not really. She’s just a teenager. The over sexualisation of young girls in the media, the movies we watched growing up, the music we consume or art.. It really has a major impact on kids wether we’d like to admit it or not. Same goes for Jules. About the nudity/sex scenes, some of them can be unnecessary true, I know it was weird to watch the Jules scene again, but i dont think you not noticed when Nate is having sex with Maddy… He’s trying to emulate the video he saw of Jules and his dad. It’s so disturbing.
