Some people are naturally snarky. So even if she doesn't have her memories, I thin she would still have the personality she would have whether or not at this job. Some features can be genetic, I think too. Plus the others have been there longer. We don't know who they were when they first got in there, except for Mike ( I think his name was, the main character), he claims to have been aggressive with his transition as well. As they said, they are still them. It's not a completely different person. The main character was crying in his car before he went into work, and his boss said he looked like shit, or said something like that. So things seem that they can carry over, even if they don't know why they feel that way.

I am finding Severance fascinating, but I'm also a little skeptical of some of the premises. So why is Helly still aware that being a cynical snarker is a way to manage within an office setting? That is generally a learned behavior, and also seems as if the others do not have that feature. Does this mean cynicism lies outside one's thought life? is it a predisposition of genetics? These seem unlikely, so I am wondering how they will address this if it's not an oversight.

Can’t help but think it being called ‘outie’ is key, that the ‘innie’ we’re thinking of, outside the job, is also tied up in a knot like a bellybutton. Neither side is free…? Man idk. But it’s still intriguing.
