GG actually makes a really good point (which I define as one I thought of too) about TV now being the place where good fiction and talent is headed toward. This would have been a movie 10 years ago, like Inception. If the person who wrote Inception came along now, it would have been as a TV show. These TV shows, to me, are like the book-length versions of TV-fueled fiction. We can have full book length elaborations of concepts in the form of TV now, because people eat up detailed fictional universes nowadays. It's fascinating.
