Multiple people tell Tony "you're a great guy" this episode. You can see him kind of relax when this happens, like hearing that was what he wanted out of forcing the money on Artie or lavishing Brian with gifts.

2022-02-16 21:28:36 +0000 UTCi totally agree. tony giving gifts to brian taking janice to dinner lending money to artie just to soothe his conscience and make himself feel like he’s a great guy despite what happened to gloria. i don’t think he’s responsible for her suicide but still his approach is kinda weird, as if it’s about him cleansing himself from gloria’s death so he can feel like he’s a good guy instead of mourning her? also artie needs to sit tf down and listen to charmaine lmao!
