I feel like Kim was pissed off because Jimmy started to act different once Howard told him about pushing Chuck out of the firm. Jimmy was grieving at first but then cleans his hands with Howard. Kim reacted similarly to how she goes off on Chuck when he says Jimmy changed document numbers even though she knew it was indeed true.
2022-02-11 17:39:21 +0000 UTCI think Kim in that moment is just meant to represent how sometimes your feelings for someone can override your logical thinking, and cause you to defend someone who you shouldn’t defend. She knows Jimmy does bad things. But as we’ve seen in the past, she gets tempted to do the same. And she gets conflicted by that since she’s also trying to be a by the book lawyer. You can visibly see her be shocked by Jimmy’s “I guess that’s your cross to bear” comment but she instead directs her anger at Howard. She can’t admit to herself that Jimmy might not be that good of a person. She is just going down a dark path and becoming more like him.

Can’t speak for you at all, but can speak for me. For me, it’s cuz I don’t understand the Kim/Jim dynamic. Idk where she’s really coming from. But hey, if indifference was folks’ natural response to foreign anythings rather than hate throughout history, it’d be better. Again, not at all trying to interpret your view.
