Rough storyboard - Blackbird (Crowsong)
Added 2024-09-09 11:00:07 +0000 UTCSO some might remember a short snippet of this being shared many months back now & I recently got the urge to revisit and rework shots a bit to make the storytelling/understanding a bit better :>
It'll hopefully be a mix of PMV & Animation, this draft is still so insanely rough but it does it purpose of getting ideas down fast and efficient!
Would love love to start working on this ASAP but I do gotta push myself to wrap up Blood Upon The Snow and Pure Imagination first at the very least :,D!

And as mentioned last time, the scream comes from Crowsong's voice actress (angelina Jolie aka tigress, maleficent etc). Im excited to really go ham on the edginess in this one; as Crowsong at last achieves her goal, arrives in the dark forest but comes to find she's alone and her clan nowhere to be found.
Other notes to hurt more is how shortly she looks at her reflection, her dark fur and something she wanted for so long, only means so much if it can be acknowledged by the rest,,,
It's also the only time we see her with her dark forest wings (dissapearing/called away at the end),. I've got to conceptualize those more but I'm imagining wilted, droopy and tattered black ones. Just like in starclan, they can simply be summoned, albeit most dark forest wings including hers cannot give them flight.

This is really good. i love how you do Crowsong's expressions when she was looking for her clan then realized she all alone in the dark forest!
