OC ref & adopts & OC concepts + lore tidbits

Yami's fully transformed version FINALLY got completed after being shelved for over a year!! I love them and I'm happy to own a dragon-like OC again!

The two other colored refs are scrapped OC concepts I don't wish to keep so they'll be up for art/money offers on toyhou.se tomorrow!

The grayscale concepts are for Midnightstar aka Horizonclan's leader and he is intertwined a lot with my own version of starclan! I plan on making a proper lore page on it and my version o the dark forest but that'll take a while so why not drop some early thoughts and ideas here for those interested!

Firstly he's the only leader to actually have the -star suffix but like all other groups in my lore this isn't something leaders take on as they recieve this status. It's instead a connection to the polar star which i grew up calling the translation of midnightstar (midnattsjärna); so just for the aesthetic really. He also has speckles of bioluminescent material on his fur making it glow like the night sky in the dark :3 I think it matches wiht his daughter Moonpaw and her lunar aesthetic really nicely!

Leaders also do not receive 9 lives and it's instead given to all starclan cats, everytime a living cat survives a near death experience it's a starclan close to them giving up one of their lives, sort of like guardian angels in a way. Once all 9 lives are "used up" their spirit will leave starclan as they're reborn into a new life.

Only a starclan cat with 9 lives can resurrect a living cat a short while after they have succumbed to whatever tragedy has struck them. This is what happened to Midnightstar as his dead mate gave her 9 lives to save him and the potential future of horizonclan after being betrayed and killed by a nearby clan leader as they lured him to a treaty. He had his troat slashed hence the massive scar and his reason for dying. Although as he was resurrected it was partially healder but he is now left mute. Doesn't stop him from being a super cool leader though. I really want to capture his massive towering size and cryptid like silhouette and vibes. I love himmm
