Quality vs Size
Added 2025-07-30 02:52:03 +0000 UTCWith DirectStorage, it's now possible to use GPU decompression to either boost texture quality even further or greatly reduce the storage size. Check out the two textures of Ineffa attachedโthey each use a different approach. Can you tell which texture has better quality? Would you prefer higher quality, or would you rather save on storage space? Iโd love to hear your thoughts!

XXMI has trouble loading this in half of the time and I have no idea why, it'll load Blanka and my skins but not all the higher-res textures... Aside from that I'd love to see better quality over size anyday!

2025-08-10 06:02:27 +0000 UTCPersonally the 2nd looks substantially smoother and I'd prefer quality. I take a lot of screenshots on an 8k monitor and less jagged edges would be appreciated. I'd think most people using this mod with a 4k monitor & maxed settings will have the room to spare.
