Upgrade to new engine

We have the new engine just about ready to switch to, but before we do this we wanted to get input.

The new engine is on an updated version of unity as well as has our own built-in code to make the game more functional to how we want instead of using the old "Visual Novel Engine" add-on from unity's store. 


Here are the pros and cons of switching to the new engine:


Pros:

    - Better workflows that will save time and stress when adding to the game

    - Better tools to utilize to build the game

    - Ability to save and load your game progress

    - Custom functionality to suite our personal needs for the game

    - Smaller file size for the game

    - Updated graphics shaders in cave mini-game environment

    - More scripting options when it comes to mini-games and interactivity

    - Movement system between scenes (will be able to control where you walk in the game)

    - Better phone system that is reactive and updates with text messages

    - Menu is accessed through your phone (quit, save, options, etc)

    - Faster loading times

    - Random positioning of characters and changes in time of day

    - Custom UI and buttons


Cons:

    - Figuring out how everything will port over to the new engine

    - Could take a good amount of time to port but will have to do it soon anyway

    - Things may not work correctly at first until we get things added in 

    - Graphics will need to be re-tweaked to fit the resolution correctly

    - A delay in story progress until we can get everything moved over
