Long Overdue Update

For a long time, I've resisted making sweeping changes to how we operate things because of feelings of familiarity with the process and not wanting to rock the boat, but that needs to change. As we grow, some of the ways we operate need to adapt, and we've been a bit too slow to realize that, but some might say "better late than never."
Our system for giving out shout-outs on a first-come-first-served basis made a lot of sense when no one was listening, and we didn't expect anyone to start. However, now there is a giant backlog of shout-outs we need to get to and no easy solution for how to get closer to current. We've tried a few things, but they didn't really help, and my ultimate goal of getting to current shout-outs by episode #500 is an impossible dream.
So what we're going to do is this: If you have not received your shout-out, and you are looking forward to it, send us a message on here and let us know. Also, please let us know the name you'd like us to use in the shout-out, and we will bump it to the front of the list. If you are okay with waiting a little while, or maybe you want to be surprised by a shout-out, then feel free to do nothing, and we'll get to your shout-out as the order progresses.
A second issue is the mailbox on this Patreon account. I posted a note on our profile that we are rarely on this account and that messages that get sent here are not read often, but ultimately, we need to do a better job with that. I have a lot of messages to get back to, but if you sent a message and did not get a reply, please feel free to send another message, and I promise a prompter response.
Also, we will post more stuff here to stay in better touch on this platform. Probably not any exclusive episodes, since we don't really like pay-walls, but there will be some treats here and there.
Thank you for supporting our project and thank you even more for being patient with us as we realize that we have growing pains and need to do something about them.
