Making a song out of a meme & update
Added 2024-03-22 12:36:13 +0000 UTCFoolish of me to put the Rammus song as a suggestion I suppose. As one person commented, "If you ask Youtube, the answer is always going to be a meme". I suppose that's right.
Okay so let me drop a few things:
1: I didn't make a "Behind The Mix" for Put Out The Flame. The first reason is that it takes me a lot of time to shoot and edit the video, and the second is that the videos don't seem to catch a lot of traction. So not really worth the effort, it seems. INSTEAD, I've been streaming quite a bit on Youtube as I've been producing the Rammus track, and I think that could be a good compromise. For the die-hard fans who want to learn about my creative process, they can watch the streams, and it doesn't take me much additional time to just be transparent with how I work.
2: I got my employment back.
So apparently Shadow War is back, and I've been offered a full time position as their audio director again. Naturally, I can't really say no to that. Falconshield hasn't been going too well. I've been releasing songs every month, with shorts every week, and I'm actually losing subs.
I know that consistency and persistence is key, but in the light of the other aspects I wrote about in a previous post(to be content without content), I'm starting to realize that Falconshield will never take off, and I'm okay with that. I will still create these songs because I love doing it. Keeping a steady schedule might be difficult with a full time job, but I'd rather take my time to create something awesome than release something I can't stand by.
3: The Miss Fortune shanty is going to slapp
Yeah...for those of you who loved Drown With Me(everyone?!), you're gonna like this one I think :D Aiming for a May release for that one~
